Background Information
In June 2008 Ivan Rakitic came into my life during the Euro 2008 when I accidentally started watching one of Croatia's games. His playing style and technique fascinated me and I grew a strong liking for him. Having years of experience with creating websites and a love for webdesigning, the idea of starting a fansite about Ivan for fans to read the latest news and show support for him quickly came about. There aren't many sites out there providing information in English for International fans to read and thus this site was born.
Rakitic.net will strive to be an often updated source for all things Ivan. It was created to show love and support for Ivan and his career, and will continue to do so for as long as possible.
